AADN:Americas ALOS Data Node
The AADN was established by ASF in partnership with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to support the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s (JAXA) Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS) mission. JAXA launched ALOS in January 2006 with a planned 3-year mission life. The ALOS mission ceased operation on April 22, 2011.
The AADN ceased operations on March 31, 2011.
