Radarsat 1 CEOS to raster

I used mapready to convert a radarsat1 CEOS file to a raster.  I tried a few  options for processing and formats for the output, JPEG, Tiff Geotiff, PNG - consistently I came up with the same result - the image produced was a mirror image of the input data.  Can you please tell me where I might be going wrong?

Some facilities process their data differently than others. The final geocode image may appear to be flipped from the original telemetry, but it should line up properly with other data over the same region.
Does your processed data line up properly with other data? Which facility did you get your data from?
