Using ASF Data

Please identify that the data you have used were processed by the Alaska Satellite Facility. Additionally, the research agreements specify separate conditions by the Foreign Space Agencies on the use of their data, as follows:

  1. All JERS-1 data, irrespective of the form in which they reproduced, must be marked so that the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency copyright is plain to all:

    • © JAXA (year of reception)

  2. All ERS-1 and ERS-2 data, irrespective of the form in which they are reproduced, must be marked so that the European Space Agency’s copyright is plain to all:

    • © ESA (year of reception)

  3. All RADARSAT-1 data, irrespective of the form in which they are reproduced, must be marked so that the Canadian Space Agency’s copyright is plain to all:

    • © CSA (year of reception)

  4. All ALOS standard and derivative products, irrespective of the form in which they are reproduced, must be marked so that the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency copyright is plain to all:

    • for AVNIR-2 and PRISM, © JAXA (year of reception)
    • for PALSAR, © JAXA, METI (year of reception)

  5. All ALOS value added products, irrespective of the form in which they are reproduced, must be marked so that the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency copyright is plain to all:

    • for AVNIR-2 and PRISM, Includes Material © JAXA (year of reception)
    • for PALSAR, Includes Material © JAXA, METI (year of reception)

  6. All AIRSAR and UAVSAR products should include:

    • Credit: NASA/JPL
